Is Your Dental Office Digitally Up to Date?

Digital DentistryTechnology is changing every industry, and dentistry is no exception. The days of creating messy plaster impressions are rapidly fading into the depths of history.

Today, intra- oral scanners can quickly and cleanly create an astoundingly accurate and lifelike impression on a computer in a matter of seconds. These same files can be sent to a dental lab with a single click, saving your office serious time and money.

This is just one way that a digitally savvy office can decrease chair time, increase productivity, and ultimately increase profits. Have you taken time recently to look at your digital workflow? You may be surprised at how many opportunities you have to digitize your processes, provide better overall service, and deliver optimum results to your patients.

If the permanent teeth are not going to erupt within six months of primary tooth loss, appliance therapy is indicated.

The early loss of a tooth is usually due to dental caries or trauma and if space loss has not already occurred, rapid intervention with a space maintaining appliance is of utmost importance. If space loss has already occurred, a space regaining approach should be considered.  Our clinical case exemplifies the premature loss of anterior teeth due to “Baby Bottle Syndrome.”

On the day of the extraction, the doctor delivered a Groper Fixed Anterior Bridge.
