The Zyppah T provides success in the treatment of severe obstructive sleep apnea and TMD cases. It adds extensions to the TRD portion as well as "tongue elevators" on the lower tray to lift the tongue and prevent it from falling back into the throat. Practitioners should have experience with at least five Zyppah K appliances before trying the Zyppah T.
