The Wrap-Around labial is excellent for final retention. It is usually soldered to the buccal bar of the Adams clasp or to “C” clasps. Retention wires are usually placed between the laterals and cuspids to help stabilize the long labial. Wrapping around in this manner eliminates the possibility of occlusal interferences or opening interproximal contacts.
