Implant stents are used with CAT scans and during surgical procedures to aid in the proper placement of implants. First an ideal tooth set-up is accomplished on your properly articulated models. This set-up is then duplicated and processed into a clear acrylic stent. Depending on your needs, it will be modified for use during surgery or for a CAT scan procedure.
