CT Scan Appliance for the Partially Edentulous Patient
6520 B

When a partially edentulous patient is scanned, many measurements can be made relative to the position of the existing teeth. However, it is still necessary to make an appliance that will replicate the diagnostic set-up of your planned restorative work. Not doing so may lead to an implant placement that compromises the final prosthetic result. Again, radiopaque markers are used to evaluate the position of the proposed restoration to the existing bone.
