The typical anchorage system used when you wish to unilaterally move a bicuspid mesially, while preventing reciprocal movement of the other teeth. This appliance uses nickel titanium coil spring and an adjustable Gurin Lock. Note: Activating the Gurin lock is easily accomplished with a special box wrench (available from SML).
